Lourdes “Lola” Leon has tried her hardest to refrain from the limelight, but as a progeny of Madonna, it was only a matter of time before the limelight dragged Lola into Stella McCartney’s latest perfume campaign. “Pop” is Stella McCartney’s first new fragrance in four years, and judging by the name, it’s only right that the campaign features poppin’ young stars to help personify the brand. Lola joins the fellow fresh faces of Claire Boucher (Canadian singer, Grimes), Kenya Kinski-Jones and Amandla Stenberg, the question is posed: Why willingly step into the spotlight now? Well, many know that Stella McCartney is a good friend of Madonna, so perhaps Lola was sold by the messages that this fragrance hopes to promote self-acceptance, positivity, creativity and individuality. Unlike her mama Madonna, Lola lives a pretty low-key lifestyle as she continues to pursue musical theatre at the University of Michigan. Music and dance must clearly run through the bloodline, because Lola is also working on perfecting her singing, acting and dancing. This could be just the beginning of Lola’s road to stardom!
