On April 27 The Space Dallas was transformed into an enchanted magical garden fit for princesses and fairies. In fact, that’s exactly what the models looked like walking the floor in the latest Binzario Couture collection titled “A Walk into the Sunset”. This stunning Fall/Winter 2016-17 runway presentation, which was shown in New York and Paris fashion weeks earlier in spring, made Dallas debut to a standing ovation. Binzario Couture Designers in association with Roundup for Autism created this show to benefit Autism Treatment Centers of Texas. Inspired by the colors of the setting sun, the collection included a combination of cocktail and evening garments - all exuding elegance, richness and warmth. The evening was a tremendous success drawing the “who is who” of the Dallas fashionista circles. It was
especially rewarding to see the gowns up close and be able to admire the delicate and intricate hand-made beading and embroidery details. Not only did the show take place on the same level as the viewers, thus allowing an up-close look of the garments, but there were also plenty of opportunities after the show to mingle with the models, enjoy cocktails and bites, and take photos.
The show was emceed by Laurie Graham, and also featured a documentary about Autism Treatment Centers of Texas followed by a heart-felt address of Roundup for Autism Executive Director Gina Marx. This event is the second yearly production Binzario designers Andre Yabin and Luis Nazario created in association with the Roundup for Autism. We hope that their talents and dedication continue to delight our senses while giving back to the community. For myself I can only say - I can’t wait to see what they have in store for us next season!
