In the fast-paced and mostly casual living of the 21st century we frequently look back with nostalgia on the beautiful era of 1960’s. Frank Sinatra and Jackie Kennedy captured our imagination, and we sigh looking at old photographs of impeccably dressed gentlemen and elegantly clad ladies. Those were the times!
Well, if you really are a fan, get ready for an experience of a life-time. AIDS Interfaith Network is inviting you to go back in time and visit The Sands Nightclub, complete with The Rat Pack tunes and signature cocktails. On November 5th, for one night only, The Sands will open its doors in Deep Ellum, in 2616 Commerce Event Center at 9 pm. Dress like your favorite characters in Mad Men and come to spend a chic night enjoying Hunter Sullivan and his orchestra, a retro fashion show by Vintage Martini, and an open bar. You will dance to the songs of the old Blue Eyes, sip manhattans and sidecars, and relish on delectable and era-appropriate bites.
VIP and Sponsors will be treated to an Exclusive Cocktail Hour featuring Amorada Tequila, specialty cocktails, swag bags, open bar, nibbles and other VIP surprises. Complimentary valet is provided to all guests.
If you still have any doubts, please remember, this is not just another party. This fundraising event is benefiting AIDS Interfaith Network – the organization that makes a difference in people’s lives for over 30 years.
Now, what are you waiting for? Go get your tickets and start planning your costume! You wouldn’t want to look out of place next to Don Draper.
