Nestor Eduardo Estrada

Event Co-Chair Nestor Eduardo Estrada shared with me his inspiration for bringing together this tremendous undertaking. His personal story and passion for the cause was moving and uplifting at the same time. “We created Bloomin’ Ball to take place in May when the floral blooms of spring symbolize renewal and hope,” – he said. “AIN was a natural place for me, when I found out that a friend tested positive for HIV.I wanted to show my support not only to him, but to many others dealing with consequences of this diagnosis. Through our mission, AIN works to prevent the spread of HIV and serves people living with HIV/AIDS and other vulnerable populations. Currently we provide services to 2,000 men, women, youth and children who have HIV/AIDS. Through our prevention programs we also reach another 10,000 people who are at-risk of contracting HIV.”

Is there anything more to say? I hope you will join me in supporting AIN! It is time for me to start thinking of a perfect dress. I will see you at the Blooming Ball.
