As we all know, the offering of beauty products and services in Dallas is not lacking. There are plenty of choices for all tastes and budgets. However, when a new and unusual place opens up, I love to check it out just to make sure I am not missing out on anything.
The place I am talking about today is the newest Dallas luxury beauty studio “Dallash”. The catching name is a fun blend of their specialization in everything “lashes” and, of course, the name of our city. Dallash is founded by Kasia Baran – a consummate beauty professional, who has chosen Dallas to expand her business. Already successful in Chicago, she moved to Texas for family reasons and brought the business with her.
Please, don’t be misled by the name. It is not just a studio for eyelash extensions. What separates Dallash from all other competitors in the eyelash industry it’s unique approach to your needs, and the in-depth understanding of ALL available methods and techniques of working with eyelashes. (I didn’t even know there was more than one). They can help you grow your own lashes, tint and perm them, if needed, and develop a care regimen for the best natural results. Of course, extensions and education on the process and care is offered as well, but what’s more important, they are offered not as routine technical maintenance, but always accompanied by mini-facials with skin treatments. Kasia Baran has turned the necessary procedure of beauty upkeep into the time of Zen, so desperately needed by all of us today.
With that being said, I was not ready to commit to another beauty routine, so lash extensions were out of the question. I opted to have a facial instead. Dallash uses the Eminence Organic Line of products, developed and produced in Hungary, and delivered directly from the factory to ensure freshness. All facials are customized to your personal needs based on your skin condition and personal preferences. The procedure was wonderful, I was genuinely impressed.
A few points of note I feel should be mentioned. Usually, I am skeptical about organic products, since I have a deep-seated belief that they may not be as potent. However, that was definitely not the case. Organic exfoliator definitely felt just as strong as glycolic acid on my skin. A pleasant addition to the procedure was a scalp and neck massage with essential oils, which was not just relaxing, but incredible for the hair. Also very important – the product application included facial massage to help absorption and increase blood circulation. A nice touch was aroma therapy treatment at the end of the session to awaken the senses.
One more thing to mention is the location. Dallash selected a premium spot in Turtle Creek Village on Oak Lawn Avenue – easy to find, with plenty of parking. If the weather is too hot, or too cold, you can even utilize their private undergrown parking and come up directly to the studio without setting your foot outside. It is a great option after a sunless tan application, or if you simply want to avoid sun exposure. The luxury is in the details, and the Dallash has them all covered. I hope you give them a try. I really do recommend it.
