Leonardo D’Almargo is a rising star in the jewelry industry. Well known in Latin America and Mexico, D’Almargo’s line has been a great success since it launched in February earlier this year. Prior to the launch, his jewelry was already adorning TV stars, such as Gabriela Natale, LeeAnn Locken, and “Real Housewives of Dallas” Star Tiffany Hendra. Needless to say, he’s been busy non-stop. Latest achievement is the invitation to 2016 Vincenzaoro Italy and Vincenza Dubai – two of the top most important jewelry trade shows in the world, where he will be showing as the only US. Latin Designer of the year.
The Venezuelan native, now based in Austin, Texas, has many talents as a CEO and Designer of his line, as well as a writer contributor at Harper’s Bazaar as a Style Ambassador. Among other recognitions is a prestigious 2015-2016 Daytime Emmy Award for his contribution as a fashion editor on the TV Show ‘SuperLatina with Gaby Natale’.
Leonardo is not a stranger to Dallas. You may have seen him recently in the Dallas social scene (I know I have!). Mr. D’Almargo is an active member of Fashion Group International, and was recently featured on Good Morning Texas and Eye Opener TV. His jewelry appeared in the jaw-dropping DIFFA Dallas 2016 Circo Rouge Event Campaign, and his recent trunk show at La Vignette attracted dazzling coverage by Chivvis Style.
He’s not stopping there; this is only the beginning. As a breakout star in the world of pageantry, Mr. D’Almargo is now bejeweling big power house contestants with his beautiful creations. In October the Miss Mexico Organization announced D’Almargo as the Official Jewelry Sponsor, who will be supplying jewelry to support contestants from Mexico at the oldest international pageants: the coveted Miss World Pageant, Miss Supranational, and Miss United Continents. The Miss World pageant is currently taking place in Washington D.C., with finals taking place on Tuesday December 20th. In preparation, Miss Mexico Ana Giraullt Contreras and Leo collaborated on her looks, selecting special pieces from his collection to go with each of her daily event outfits. The same collaboration is planned for the new Miss Mexico the following year. It has been an action packed year for Leo with him moving full steam ahead; 2017 is sure to be even bigger and better for the jewelry bombshell.
