Hailing from its home state of North Carolina, the Charlotte-based department store chain has traveled its way to Galleria Dallas, bringing its “modern, southern style.” Belk introduced itself to us by stocking some of our favorite brands, such as: Trina Turk, Eileen Fisher, Kate Spade, Michael Kors, Bonobo, Vince Camuto, and Free People, just to name a few. The Dallas location is one of the few Belk stores to carry these premium brands.
The 170,000-square-foot, three-level department store was filled with tropical colors and fun prints. The set up of the elegant store caters to everyone, from busy moms and children to young professionals. The season’s must-haves were at every angle and aisle. As you enter through the African safari-inspired collection of Free People and BCBG, you feel a whimsical burst of freshness and
energy. You can almost hear the wind rustling through the tall grass and feel the sun on your skin. If you explore further, you will breeze through the trendy tribal prints of Cynthia Rowley and stroll through the kaleidoscopic line of Vince Camuto. Just as we felt inspired to bare a little skin and venture out into spring, you will, too.
If you want to escape the usual department store feel, throw on your most comfortable shoes (we won’t judge) and take a trip to the Belk at Galleria Dallas for a get-away. If you need a break from your quest for inspiration, the store features an innovation wall that has iPads and a lounge area available to guests.
Oh…the places you can go…with endless selections to choose from! We at Fashion Scoop Daily are ecstatic to welcome Belk to Dallas and look forward to the many adventures.
